Oceanside's history goes back several centuries, when native people lived in the surrounding areas of the San Luis Rey river and the Pacific Ocean. However, the history of Oceanside has officially been recognized from the founding of the Mission in 1798 by the Spanish fathers. On July 3, 1888 Oceanside was incorporated. Today Oceanside offers great opportunities for the development of new businesses, industries and commercial areas. | |
